About LF Pipes
Løvenskiold-Fossum (LF) has had small power plants on its own property for over 100 years and today has 8 in operation in addition to a pumped-pump power plant. In the summer of 2023, the tenth will be put into operation and LF will then deliver approximately 120 GWh.
In connection with the latest construction project which includes a classified pipe street, LF did a greater job of finding alternatives to today’s pipe suppliers – as these are challenging in terms of price and delivery. The choice fell on Turkish Subor, and LF has now carried out the entire last small power development with GRP pipes directly ordered from there.
Subor has supplied pipes to Norway for a number of years through a distributor who today has other sub-suppliers of GRP pipes.
LF’s experiences with price, quality and delivery were so positive that LF has now entered into an agency agreement with Subor for the supply of GRP pipes to Norwegian builders and contractors.
